Imbibing A Character Of Truth (Part 2)

God is an Ocean of Truth and the most perfect personality that exists. Also, the personality of God is transparent and clean and you will never find a single flaw in Him. The reason for this is that the qualities inside God are deep and not superficial. God is someone you feel comfortable with because He radiates true love for you with no artificialness. In the same way, we need to be extremely clean and truthful, just like God, with nothing to hide in our personality, from the world. The more transparent in your nature you become, the more people will come close to you and feel comfortable and at ease with you.

Also, let your qualities be visible to everyone so much that you are seen and talked about as someone as virtuous as God. Qualities like love, humility, sweetness and contentment bring people close to you. Also, let the qualities not change or reduce in any situation. Have you noticed that sometimes a quality inside you varies when you are with different people? With one person you are more humble than the other. In one situation, you are sweeter than in another. What this means is that qualities are there but they are not so full of truth and depth. A truthful soul means the qualities of such a soul are like pure gold. Such a soul is commonly experienced as a shining mirror by others, in which they see and realize their flaws easily and get inspired to become virtuous. This is a truthful personality.

Greatness lies in humility.

Projection:The one who is humble is always willing to learn - from others and situations. So whatever happens a humble person never reacts to the situations, but acts positively whilst being in a stage of self-respect. So there is greatness visible in the one who is humble.

Solution: Humility brings an experience of being full and complete. So naturally I am available for service, and have always the thought of bringing benefit to as many as possible. Humility also gives an experience of being a master, because no situation or person binds me, but I am able to experience freedom.

Imbibing A Character Of Truth (Part 1)

A beautiful aspect of our lives and sometimes not given enough importance to is the truthfulness of our words and actions. Very often there are hidden false intentions in our thoughts which are the opposite of what our words and actions might reflect. Also, at times some people may purposely show a different person or a different nature to the outside world and carry a different type of personality inside. What stops people from being themselves? Is it the fear of the outside world or is it a personality characteristic – to be different inside and outside? Also, it is worth wondering such a person who shows a different face of himself or herself to the world – is such a person respected more or less by people around? Less, we would feel and we also experience that. Why? Sooner or later people realize and are able to judge us that we are lying or giving a false impression to people of many things. Such a person loses credibility and respect.

So, it’s good to be true and not to be someone with a false nature. Also, virtues shown outwardly to the world to please people are like artificial jewels, which are good to look at but do not carry any value. So, carry virtues or qualities in your heart and not in your head. That means don’t become virtuous to show the world that you are a nice person and not be so nice inside. On the contrary, be so nice inside that people like you very much for your qualities. Always remember, people around you are very sharp in judging that you are an artificial good person or a real good person. So, instead of deceiving people with artificial virtues, express your goodness from the bottom of your heart and people will love you very much for that.

To be a self-sovereign is to be in control.

Projection:The one who is a self-sovereign never finds difficulty in being in control. He doesn't have to go out of control and then bring himself back in control. The moment the order is given to the self, every thought, word and action is immediately in order.

Solution: To be a self-sovereign means to be aware of my own specialities and work with them. When I am a self-sovereign I experience myself to be free. This is because nothing binds me but I am able to win over my weaknesses too. Thus I find myself to be in total happiness in all situations.

The Invisible Impressions That Shape Me

While the mind and intellect are two faculties of the soul which play their role on the surface of our consciousness; at a deeper level, hidden beneath these two faculties, there lies a third faculty commonly called the sanskaras. The sanskaras is not only a store house of personality traits, as we commonly know it to be, but a store house of millions and millions of impressions or imprints. Such a large number of impressions are created by millions of experiences that I go through my sense organs not only in this life but in all my lifetimes. Everything that I hear, see, touch, taste, etc. I process or analyze or summarize in my own unique way; basically I give the experiences a unique form depending on my personality, before this form gets stored in the form of impressions inside me. I even process my subtle experiences, which are in the form of thoughts and feelings.

This process of experiencing and processing takes place during each and every second of my life including the time I sleep, when my mind may not be experiencing a lot but it is busy processing the physical and subtle experiences of the day that has gone by and storing the processed information in the form of impressions. From this, one can get an idea of the magnitude of the database of impressions stored within me, the being. These imprints which are unique to me, make up my sanskaras, and shape up my unique personality in a cyclic process. My personality shapes what type of impressions are created out of my experiences and the impressions in turn shape my personality, my thoughts, words and actions e.g. if I constantly keep the company of people who gossip, a large number of respective impressions based on the experience of gossiping keep getting stored inside me, which in turn influence my personality, the personality characteristic gets stronger and over a period of time I do not find anything wrong with it and indulge in it more and more. As a result more such impressions get stored. Thus it is a cyclic process.

The one who has faith is always victorious.

Projection:The one who has faith, has total faith in the self and in the progress of the self. The one who has faith is always successful because he gives his best in everything he does. He is never deterred by obstacles but progresses constantly.

Solution: When I have complete faith, I am able to experience lightness even when I am faced with my weaknesses, because I have the faith that I am progressing. I am able to learn and improve from everything that happens.

The Two Dimensions Of Being A Detached Observer

There are two dimensions of being a detached observer - the inner dimension and the outer one.

Let us look at the inner dimension of detached observation. It is the ability or the technique to stand back from or observe in a detached way our own thoughts, feelings, emotions, attitudes and behavior. We are creators and our thoughts, feelings, emotions and attitudes are our creation. In fact, this is the first step to becoming a ruler of the self and making the self powerful. If we fail to detach from our thoughts and emotions then they will be our masters, they will go out of control and will, as a result, leak away or waste our energy. Practice simply being the witness of whatever you are thinking and feeling. This is an important aspect of any good spiritual practice and after a while you will find it an experience that both, frees you and empowers you.

The external dimension of detached observation is the technique of being a witness to or an observer of the scenes, of the world around us. As we stand back and watch the scenes of life being played, on the world stage around us, without being actively involved, we can see the big picture more clearly. This makes it easier to judge clearly what is the most suitable contribution that we can make and the most suitable role we can play - through our thoughts, words and actions.

To be free from the influence of the past is to have the ability to fly forward.

Projection:There are so many things of the past that keep coming up in the mind again and again. Insead of being like birds holding on to the branches of the past; the one who looks at the clear sky gets the inspiration to move forward. To look at the clear sky means to look at the present moment and make the best use of it.

Solution: The ability to free myself from the negative influences of the past, enables me to have a vision of equality. I will then not be judging others on what my past experiences with them are. I also find myself experiencing the benefit of each and every moment. So I experience constant progress.

God And I – The Task We Share (Part 6)

Living a life of service is as simple as living your daily routine in which you perform the simplest of tasks. Presently, God is choosing people from all over the world who will help Him and it is upto us, the selected ones, to fulfill His dream, a dream where everyone has the basic spiritual wisdom. Also, a dream where everyone is extremely noble and pure in his thoughts, words and actions and the world is like a magical place of peace, love and joy. A few lakhs or millions will awaken the billions and then we will be in the middle of an inner awakening wave. In such a wave, over a period of time, a percentage of the world population will get at least the basic introduction of the true knowledge of the soul, God and the history and geography of the world, as given by God. And also the whole world will atleast know about God’s present task of world change. And will know that God is presently changing the world from a sorrow filled hell to a happiness filled heaven, where there is no sorrow.

To bring this time close soon on this planet where God’s presence is experienced in each and every heart with a spiritual belongingness i.e. a spiritual wisdom filled love for the Supreme, we need to work hard now. Also, bring a time close where everyone says – My Supreme Father has come to liberate me from sorrow. When everyone says mine with love and respect for God - the Supreme Father of humanity, that’s when the flag of God’s glorification will wave in the entire world and in every human being’s heart. We are looking at that future and it’s the future which God has already mentioned, will come on this planet soon. It is a future where every spiritual child will hold the flag of his or her spiritual parent’s love, based on spiritual knowledge, in his or her heart and will celebrate a union with their spiritual parent or God.

Creating quality thoughts brings happiness and lightness.

Projection:When there is quality thinking, thoughts are not many, but each thought is special. Quality thoughts are reflected in quality words and quality actions. They reduce tiredness and carelessness as thoughts are fewer in quantity.

Solution: When I have good quality thoughts, I experience sweetness, happiness and self-respect. I am able to recognise my own greatness and move forward with lightness under all circumstances.

God And I – The Task We Share (Part 5)

Spiritual knowledge is given to us by God, who is the Ocean of Knowledge, and has the true knowledge of the soul, Himself as well as the history and geography of the world. This spiritual knowledge should be given to every human being in the world. That is what God’s pure desire is. But how will he fulfill His desire? It is through us that His knowledge will be given to each soul in the world, through our thoughts, words and actions. Have you ever dreamt of a world where every human being had the true spiritual knowledge of him or herself and thought, spoke and acted according to that? Such a world would be a beautiful place to live in and there would be no sorrow of either the mind or the body or your role and relationships. All the sorrow in the world is because of a lack of true spiritual knowledge.

Giving knowledge to the world is God’s primary act, which He performs when He is present in the world to change it, when sorrow increases. But, He cannot perform this action without our help, because He needs human beings and the words they speak to reach out to billions of people all over the world. So, do you ever think that I should be one of those chosen ones who will become instrumental in helping God at this particular time or do you think this duty is to be fulfilled by others and not necessarily me? The world needs the friends of God, who are extremely close to Him and are taking spiritual knowledge from Him to take out time everyday to help God in His task. This is something that we need to do soon. World servers are God’s right hands who perform their daily actions related to their routine, play all their relationships of family and friendships, work hard for a living and succeed immensely. But, inspite of a busy routine, they give spiritual knowledge to each and everyone whom they meet, love and respect. Loving someone means that I realize my duty of giving him or her the knowledge that I have and they start experiencing happiness because of the knowledge.

True love brings success in relationships.

Projection:The one who is loving, likes to be with the others. Such a person will never try to be away even from people who are not loving towards him, but will be able to change the one who is not so loving with his own love. So the one who is loving is always successful in relationships.

Solution: Since I am a loving person, I am able to maintain this love for every person I come into contact with. Whether the other person is able to be loving or not, I find that I never lose my love because of being aware of my true nature.

God And I – The Task We Share (Part 4)

Whenever you begin your day each morning, begin with a vision of love and mercy for each and every individual of the world. Do you know that the negative thought energy of each individual of the world is going to each corner of the world and causing negative changes in the universe? This is showing in the form of natural calamities like earthquakes, floods, droughts, and many more forms on a physical level along with negative changes in the minds of people on an emotional level. It may be difficult to believe but each of the more than 700 crore individuals of the world are contributing to a negative fall in values as well as physical energies of the world. Remember, each one’s cumulative negative thought patterns are affecting the world in a big way. In the same way, the positive thought power of a few pure and powerful minds can cause positivity to spread in the entire world and begin to change the world constructively. It does not require crores of people to bring about a change in the world, only a few thousand or a few lakh pure and highly motivated minds can do it.

We all live in a world where we are influencing each other every second with our thought energy and also changing each and every molecule of the world. This includes every cell of our own physical body, nature in general and nature’s five elements – earth, wind, water, fire and sky. So, as a world server, it is important to realize that the world does not necessarily need the positive energy of all the people of the world. It is not possible that all of us i.e. each and every individual of the world will change in a big way or become purer. We do not have such a huge system in place where everyone starts cleaning their consciousness and that starts changing the entire world. It is only me, as an individual who can start purifying myself and bringing about a change in my immediate surroundings like in the people I am close to and my loved ones. Then I bring change in the society in which I move about and then the city in which I stay, then in my country and then in the whole world. This is called world transformation through self transformation.

The one who checks himself constantly is the one who experiences progress.

Projection:The one who keeps checking himself is also able to bring about a change in himself. Such a person takes each situation as a chance to learn something new and bring about some change for the better. So there is constant improvement in his life.

Solution: When something goes wrong, if I learn to check myself and bring about a change immediately, I will be able to experience constant progress. No situation will make me have negative feelings or make me stop, but I will be able to enjoy everything that comes my way.
